Why this adapter

Many sound moderators on the market are tapped in UNF 1/2, a widespread standard, while many rifles come out with an M10x1 thread. This adapter bridges the two: it screws onto the M10x1 thread of the gun and offers a UNF 1/2 thread ready to receive your moderator. No more need to change the barrel or search for a moderator with the exact thread.

The machined aluminium version is significantly more robust than a plastic equivalent: it withstands repeated tightening better, resists thread wear and maintains a precise fit over time. The precision machining (tolerance ± 0.2 mm) guarantees a clean threading, without play, for correct alignment of the moderator in the line of fire.

Mounting

Mounting is simple: screw the adapter onto the M10x1 thread of the barrel, then screw your UNF 1/2 moderator onto the adapter. Tighten firmly by hand, without forcing with a tool, to preserve the aluminium threads. Check the alignment before firing.
