Pack of 5 high-quality nitrile (NBR) O-rings, 3 mm cross-section, designed to ensure the sealing of air circuits in PCP airguns and high-pressure pumps. Resistant to oil, wear and temperature variations (-25 °C to 100 °C).
Nitrile is the reference material for sealing compressed air circuits: it combines good pressure resistance and oil resistance, which limits the ageing of the seal and therefore leaks over time. The 3 mm cross-section offers a good compromise between retention in its housing and sealing capacity.
These seals are suitable for sealing the air circuits of PCP compressed air guns, high-pressure pumps and any assembly requiring reliable sealing with a 3 mm cross-section. Check the inner diameter required by your application before ordering: the range is offered in several diameters and thicknesses to cover as many configurations as possible.
An O-ring is a wear part: with pressure cycles and time, it deforms and eventually lets air pass through. Having a set of 5 seals allows you to replace a worn part without immobilising the equipment and to keep spare units on hand for routine maintenance.
Replace the worn seal with a new seal of the same cross-section and a diameter suited to its housing. A light lubrication compatible with nitrile makes installation easier and protects the seal during assembly. Make sure the housing is clean, free of dust or shavings, before refitting.
