This 40 mm moderator has been optimised to offer stronger sound attenuation than a smaller-diameter model, while keeping a controlled weight of 122 g. Its 40 mm diameter and 175 mm length increase the internal volume available to treat noise at the barrel's exit, for noticeably more discreet shooting. It suits only air-powered guns (PCP, CO2, pellet rifle) fitted with a thread, and accepts 4.5 mm, 5.5 mm and 6.35 mm calibers.
This moderator is 3D printed and made in France, designed specifically for category D air-powered guns. Unlike a firearm moderator, whose use on these guns is prohibited, the Invent3D moderator is designed for this purpose from the outset: a mark of compliance as much as a sign of quality.
Your moderator's thread has been carefully checked using a precision tap to guarantee optimal quality. When first fitting it, make sure to screw it on straight: the very fine thread pitch can make the operation a little delicate the first time. If you see that the moderator isn't straight, simply unscrew it and start again, ensuring good alignment. To make installation easier, feel free to apply a little oil to the thread.
This moderator can be sanded to obtain a smooth surface and hide print marks, then painted to your taste. Use 120-grit sandpaper, increasing gradually, apply a spray primer, then a spray paint for a perfect result.
Unverified and non-exhaustive list: check with a ruler that your thread does have an external diameter of 26.4 mm before ordering.

This product is intended exclusively for category D air-powered guns (PCP, CO2, pellet rifles) with a power below 20 joules, in accordance with the legislation in force.
By design, this moderator is powerful enough to be technically compatible with PCP guns exceeding 20 joules. However, such use is prohibited: it would result in reclassification to category C, making its use illegal without appropriate authorisation. This product is sold only for use on category D guns.
