Why nitrile (NBR)

Nitrile is the standard elastomer for compressed air circuits: it retains its elasticity over time, does not swell on contact with lubricating oils and keeps its sealing function even after numerous compression cycles. The result: no micro-leak that causes pressure to drop, and controlled compression up to 100°C. For a PCP shooter, this means stable pressure session after session.

Compatibility

These O-rings are suitable for sealing the air circuits of PCP air guns, high-pressure pumps and pneumatic accessories fitted with a groove suited to a 2 mm cross-section. The 2 mm cross-section is a common dimension, but the inner diameter must match your housing: measure your original O-ring before ordering to choose the right diameter.

Installation

• Remove the old O-ring without scratching the groove or the sealing surface
• Clean the housing to remove dust and residue
• Apply a thin film of compatible silicone grease to ease fitting and preserve the elastomer
• Position the O-ring without twisting or over-stretching it

Having a set of 5 on hand lets you replace a worn O-ring immediately and keep spares, without putting your equipment out of action.
