Why choose these slugs

Unlike our versions fitted with a steel ball, these slugs are entirely plastic: they stay lighter, with a total weight of over 4.5 g, compared to 4 g for the original rubber balls. It's an option close to the original weight, designed for recreational target shooting with your PAK blank-firing gun. A unique model designed and made in France using 3D printing, with a careful, artisanal approach to manufacturing.

These slugs suit PAK adapters for 18 mm rubber balls. The adapter is not included. Please note: some self-gomme adapters fire 20 mm balls and will not be compatible (slugs available in another listing).

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE:

• You must never force the slug into your adapter: if it resists, there is a diameter problem.
• Before inserting a slug into the adapter, check that your gun is unloaded.
• Never put a slug back into the adapter if a round remains in your gun.
• It is forbidden to transport a category D gun and/or the slugs away from home (except for a legitimate reason).
• It is strictly forbidden to aim at a person or an animal.

IMPORTANT (please read):

There are several brands of 18 mm adapters. All slugs are tested on SAPL adapters with a 17.85 mm diameter; depending on the machining, the slugs may resist a little, or not hold perfectly if you aim downwards. For other brands with a larger diameter, the slugs will fit perfectly, but they may not stay in the adapter if you tilt the gun downwards.

Please check the internal diameter of your adapter carefully: the slugs are neither returnable nor exchangeable. Depending on the adapter's manufacturing batches, there may be slight differences in diameter. A difference of just 0.01 mm is enough — smaller for the round to resist a little, larger for it not to hold in the adapter.

If the Patriot slug doesn't fit (generic adapter or a brand other than SAPL): the problem will be at the base of the slug. Take some sandpaper and sand the base, on the widest part.

In all cases, note that the slug must not resist too much when entering the adapter. If it's slight, you can force it in, then remove it by disassembling your adapter and pushing with an Allen key, for example: the slug is designed to adapt. Generally everything is fine, but you buy with full knowledge of this.

These projectiles (plastic slug with steel ball) are intended exclusively for recreational target shooting. Their purchase is unrestricted for any adult; their use is strictly regulated and is the responsibility of the user.

Conditions of use:

• Use authorized only on enclosed and secure private property, or at an approved shooting range.
• Use on public roads or in a public place is prohibited.
• Transport on public roads without a legitimate reason is prohibited.
• These projectiles are intended for target shooting; never aim them at a person or an animal.
• The energy developed must not exceed 20 joules. Any modification aimed at exceeding this limit is illegal and is the sole responsibility of the user.
